We just wanted to send out a friendly reminder that the Volunteer 40 Under 40 Awards are happening tomorrow!

 

The virtual event is tomorrow, Friday, April 30, from 1:30pm ET – 2:30pm. It will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube; we appreciate those of you who have graciously agreed to broadcast the livestream on your college/department’s Facebook page as well!

 

Please join us in congratulating alumni from your colleges on their 40 Under 40 award. To assist with social media shoutouts, I’ve reattached the spreadsheet here listing honorees by college and degree.

 

And if you are interested in streaming the awards ceremony live for your Facebook audience, please let me know! It only takes a few seconds to arrange, and won’t require any hands-on activity from social media folks during the event.

Volunteer 40 Under 40 recognizes forty alumni under the age of 40 who have excelled personally and professionally since completing their degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We would love your help celebrating these outstanding Volunteers and sharing their accomplishments with our alumni, campus, and community.

Find honorees from your college or dept ☞ See the attached sheet listing the college, major, and degree(s) of each 40 under 40 honoree.

 

How to share ☞

 

• Share the winners page on social! We encourage you to share the good news on your social platforms and congratulate our Class of 2021 and winners from your college or department! Please tag @tennalum in your posts. A 1200x628 social graphic is attached here if helpful.

 

• Carry our live awards ceremony on your Facebook page! On Friday, April 30, at 1:30pm EST, we’ll be presenting a live awards ceremony to present each honoree with their award (virtually!). We would greatly appreciate if you would share the event with your audiences by carrying the live-stream on your college’s Facebook page. We’re working with vendor On Location Live to handle the live production; all that’s needed is to give admin rights to OLL and they’ll handle the rest!
