Hi –

If you haven’t had a chance to look at Help4TN (https://www.help4tn.org/) in a while, there are some new blog posts about eviction moratoriums and civil vs criminal law. There is also a compilation of Covid-19 related legal and social services available for renters, emergency financial assistance, unemployment and more.

If you aren’t familiar with Help4TN, it is a website created by the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services (TALS) in partnership with West Tennessee Legal Services. TALS partners with legal service providers to compile legal information on key issues.  TALS also partners with the National Association of Social Workers, TN Chapter, on content to strengthen the social services referral network to families and children statewide.  Information on Help4TN is to aid your general understanding of legal issues; this information does not constitute legal advice.

They are active on Facebook and Twitter so start following them so you can easily share posts with your community.

If you have any feedback or suggestion for topics, please let me know and I can share with site’s Advisory Committee.

Thanks,

AZ
