In mid-December, Canvas administrators enabled a new Assignment Enhancement feature for students. Since that time, we’ve been made aware of a few concerns in functionality from both the student and instructor perspectives. Under heavy consideration, we are making the decision to disable this feature and return to the standard Assignment feature that had no functionality concerns. We have tested disabling this feature and found that existing student submission content and recorded grades/comments do not get lost, nor will there be an impact on existing assignments.

 

We will be disabling this feature, today, Friday, February 19th at the end of the business day (5:00 pm EST).
