Dear colleagues,
This is the second announcement for the fourth session on the Geometry and Topology of (Almost) Complex Structures, which is starting today.
The topic is: 'Geometry and Physics of Non-Kähler Calabi-Yau' and there are four talks:
- Teng Fei (Rutgers University): SU(3) structures and the Type IIA flow
- Xenia de la Ossa (Oxford University): On the geometry and moduli space of heterotic systems (to appear soon)
- Roberto Rubio (UAB Barcelona): The Calabi system and non-Kähler Calabi-Yau manifolds through generalized geometry (to appear soon)
- Valentino Tossati (McGill University): Non-Kähler manifolds with vanishing first Bott-Chern class
The first videos are now available on our YouTube Channel, and the remaining ones will follow within the next days. From now on, there will be two weeks of asynchronous discussions on Gitter, followed by a live coffee break via zoom on February 10th at 17h CET. Abstracts and more information on the format can be found on our website. You can also subscribe to our mailing list by sending an email to: [log in to unmask]
