Happy New Year. The Wildlife Services-Colorado program has a GS-404-5/6 wildlife specialist position being advertised now. This would be a rewarding position with variable work that could lay ground work for a person wanting to be competitive
for a wildlife biologist position someday. If you know someone who would be a good fit working with people in a small city/large town solving a variety of urban/suburban wildlife damage conflicts involving geese, deer, bears, prairie dogs, pigeons, and raccoons
then inform them of this position. The work is mostly protecting utilities from wildlife conflicts, wildlife conflicts at an exclusive resort, urban resident Canada geese, and aviation safety conflicts at a regional airport.
