Dear Geographers and Sustainers, I will be teaching GEOG 414 (Spatial Data Management) this spring. In this course, we will explore commonly used spatial data models. We will discuss how to efficiently retrieve and manage spatial data. Some of the topics that will be covered in this course include geospatial big data, Google Earth Engine, structured query language (SQL), and geodatabases. We will use multiple software packages, include ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, Python, and geemap<https://geemap.org/>. Please find attached the flyer and consider taking this course!
