Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:

Formal education equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or four years experience in the field of marketing, advertising, public relations, or theatre industry required.  Prior experience in the coordination of special events preferred.  Knowledge of media research reports and ability to analyze data to recommend effective partnerships.  Knowledge of theatre industry preferred. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None  

Language Ability:

Possess good public speaking, and creative writing skills.  Listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, prepare clear and concise written reports or records and explain information to others.  Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co-workers, and exhibit sensitivity to feelings of others.

Math Ability:

Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability:

Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.  Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.  Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision.  Perform under pressure and/or opposition.  Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives. 

Computer Skills:

Proven experience with PC platforms and knowledge of the following computer programs:  Windows Operating Systems, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), and E-mail programs. Operate copiers and other office equipment, type accurate copy from rough drafts, devise and access different filing systems, and maintain attention to detail.  Use tools and equipment with dexterity, and perform mechanical tasks as necessary. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:         

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
