Dear students,
First I apologize for this mass email. Please take a look at the email below from Dr. Katie Cahill about a GIS mapping work. If you are interested in it, please send me a note.
Have a good day!

Subject: Student Researcher Recommendation: Redistricting/Mapping
David and Liem,
I hope this email finds you well! I am writing to see if you have
an undergraduate or graduate student who would be interested in working with the League of Women Voters (Mary Ann Reeves cc'd here) on working up a couple of potential maps for the 2020 redistricting process in Tennessee.
The intention of the project is to provide some independently created maps for the public and legislature to reflect on as the redistricting process gets underway. Feel free to connect with Mary
Ann directly if easier. The League would be able to offer a small stipend for the student.
And as an FYI, she and I are separately working on some potential educational events regarding redistricting for this spring.
Best,
Katie
