Subject: Sr Instructional Designer position open at Advocate Aurora Health - remote applicants welcome

Greetings Prof. Roumell,

I’ve opened a position for a Senior Instructional Designer in our Revenue Cycle Education department. I was hoping you could give me some pointers on where to look to get a diverse candidate pool?

The full job description is on the Advocate Aurora Careers page, and I’ve included an excerpt of some of the high points below:

Leverages advanced adult education design methods and technology best practices, as well as knowledge in process improvement, change management, and the Electronic Health Record, to create and deploy curricula that drive team member learning and development. Acts as a resource and liaison by establishing effective working relationships, to ensure collaboration across departments, divisions, and disciplines to optimize education and development processes. Supports achievement of organizational goals by optimizing training performance and facilitating change.

I am looking for a top contributor in curriculum development, instructional design, training program presentation, and adult learning in a healthcare technology context. Top candidates will have certification or experience with Epic Systems’ electronic medical record, as well as an advanced degree in adult education or instructional design.

Best,
