The Tennessee Higher Education Commission and Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (THEC/TSAC) announced that the deadline to apply for the Tennessee Promise scholarship will be extended from November 2, 2020 to December 1, 2020. Students and families may contact the TSAC Call Center at (800) 342-1663 with any questions and check www.tn.gov/tnpromise for the latest information.

TN Promise and FAFSA go hand in hand, so once students apply for TN Promise by December 1^st, they will also have to fill out the FAFSA by February 1st.

As a friendly reminder, the outreach team will continue conducting two weekly FAFSA Line-by-Line webinars throughout November and December on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. CT/12:30 p.m. ET. Please share with your students/parents still seeking a walkthrough of the FAFSA from start through submission. As a reminder, families must register (see attached) for the webinar via the following link (https://www.tn.gov/thec/covid-19-campus-information/outreach-virtual-presentations.1.html).
