Good morning friends
This fall has been one of the quietest back to school experiences I have ever had. There has not been a need for the newsletter to let you know about events impacting mobility, but we did want
to send you updates on the construction and a few other initiatives.
Regarding parking, this year we added more spaces on the edges of campus and then ended up with very little usage. As a result the lease with Church Street Methodist was cancelled for this year.
A unique opportunity for Off-Campus students is available overnight parking and a new permit (see link below). Finally we have launched a Donations for Citations program where a person may request that a citation (no permit or parking in unauthorized area)
be dismissed by donating 5 full size food or personal hygiene products. This needs to happen by day 13 of when the citation was issued and may only be redeemed once. This is available to students, staff, and faculty.

A final quote I want to leave you with from Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper ( NO this is not political)
“I see all you have done. I see all that you are trying to do to stay afloat. I bet you’re so tired. I am too.”
As one who is tired and putting one foot in front of the other, I am grateful to be a Vol and work in this community.
Have a wonderful day
Moira
