Every fall I look forward to traipsing across Legislative Plaza in Nashville, seeing great panels and discussions from favorite authors or soon to be favorite authors. I’ve gone to readings by Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Ann Patchett, and Ted Chiang. I’ve learned about new favorites during panel discussions with Yaa Gyasi and Adam Haslett. It inevitably rains really hard at least one day, but this year, rain isn’t going to be a problem as the Southern Festival of Books is going virtual - it is virtual and free for the next 11 days.
