Hi –
Can’t talk TEL all the time 😊

My favorite time of the year starts tomorrow – Southern Festival of Books<https://www.humanitiestennessee.org/sfb2020-main/>! Every fall I look forward to traipsing across Legislative Plaza in Nashville, seeing great panels and discussions from favorite authors or soon to be favorite authors. I’ve gone to readings by Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Ann Patchett, and Ted Chiang. I’ve learned about new favorites during panel discussions with Yaa Gyasi and Adam Haslett. It inevitably rains really hard at least one day, but this year, rain isn’t going to be a problem as the Southern Festival of Books is going virtual - it is virtual and free for the next 11 days. Hope to see you and your patrons there! Ann Patchett and Yaa Gyasi are kicking it off tomorrow night – I’ve got the app downloaded and ready to go!

Who will be there?
The 2020 authors include Martha Ackmann, Cinelle Barnes, Wiley Cash, L.M. Elliot, Ann Hite, and many more.
