[External Email] Hello, This question comes up every so often: are there alternatives to using OCLC for cataloging for medium-sized libraries? Although our cataloging stats are down over the past few years, we are still using WorldCat extensively -- but perhaps not enough to justify what they charge. Our main concern is that if we stop using WorldCat for cataloging, they will raise our ILL rates. Any insight you can provide is welcome.
