The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication in the Herbert College of Agriculture is currently seeking the following student position. POSITION                              Student Worker – Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications (ALEC)

LOCATION                            The student will work in the ALEC Department, Knoxville, TN at the University of Tennessee. 

 

EFFECTIVE DATE                To be determined – approximately September 14, 2020

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Commensurate with training and experience. This position is funded by a grant from the National Peanut Board (NPB). 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

•       Collecting data from NPB regarding board member broadband access and infrastructure

•       Using GIS mapping software to map data

•       Generating quarterly reports for NPB

•       Assume other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

•       Current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Tennessee.

•       Preference will be given to students with experience in GIS mapping. However, all eligible applicants will be considered.
