The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication in the Herbert College of Agriculture is currently seeking the following student position. We believe that students (experienced undergraduates or graduate students) in your field would be ideal candidates. Could you please share this posting (attached as a word document) with students who may be qualified:

POSITION                              Student Worker – Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications (ALEC)
LOCATION                            The student will work in the ALEC Department, Knoxville, TN at the University of Tennessee.

EFFECTIVE DATE                To be determined – approximately September 14, 2020

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Commensurate with training and experience. This position is funded by a grant from the National Peanut Board (NPB).

JOB DESCRIPTION
•       Collecting data from NPB regarding board member broadband access and infrastructure
•       Using GIS mapping software to map data
•       Generating quarterly reports for NPB
•       Assume other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
•       Current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Tennessee.
•       Preference will be given to students with experience in GIS mapping. However, all eligible applicants will be considered.
