This position is perfect for MSIS alum seeking employment outside of the library but within higher ed. The Lead Digital Projects Analyst will serve in a dual capacity to provide both technical and user support for our campus faculty activity tracking software, Digital Measures. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for data and online software, be a quick learner, and be very comfortable providing instruction, conducting needs assessments, and offering support to users. The Lead Digital Projects Analyst may expect to split their time fairly evenly between working with the vendor, IT, or other campus units to define and implement solutions, and meeting with faculty and support staff to provide training, solicit feedback, and champion the benefits of the system.

Pay Grade: 42 Hiring Range: $4,091.79 - $5,728.51/Monthly Job

Summary/Essential Job Functions: Under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Research, the Lead Digital Projects Analyst is accountable for the technical design, modification, development, testing, and documentation of Digital Measures and other complex software products deployed by Academic, Faculty, and Student Affairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Convenes with users to conduct needs assessments, gather user feedback, and translate needs into solutions or work requests to the vendor.
• Creates and updates user accounts and communicates with the vendors.
• Provides technical support to all users of the Digital Measures system.
• Serves as subject-matter expert and collaborates with several individuals/groups as it relates to Digital Measures.
• Provides guidance and work direction to departmental team-members and may serve as project team leader.
• Coordinates and tests system features and functionalities.
• Oversees training schedules for all trainers, prepares training materials for users, and conducts trainings.
• Collects and analyzes feedback from users to identify training needs and improve training.
• Delivers presentations to staff and faculty.
• Coordinates the creation and maintenance of data integration systems and ensures data are imported accurately.
• Manages manual data imports by facilitating collection of data from colleges and other entities and transforms data for import into Digital Measures.
• Documents processes and procedures for collecting and importing data.
• Identifies and develops customized reports/solutions and collaborates with university and college administrators to identify reporting needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
