Dear All,

It is my pleasure to announce that Kenny Moss will defend his master's thesis this Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 10:00 am over Zoom.

The title of his thesis is “Identifying Smokestacks in Remotely Sensed Imagery via Deep Learning Algorithms”. Kenny's committee consists of Drs. Liem Tran, Nicholas Nagle, David Page (ORNL), and myself as chair/major professor.

The defense/thesis oral examination will begin with Kenny giving a presentation/summary discussion of the thesis followed by a few minutes of questions and/or
comments from the public in attendance. We then move into a committee-only meeting in which Kenny completes his defense.

If you are interested in attending Kenny's thesis presentation and general Q&A, please use the Zoom link below (using the password provided-geography). Note that the event will start sharply at 10:00 am and  I would ask that you join the Zoom meeting in time to avoid causing distraction.
