AL Live COVID-19 Webinar: Follow-Up Resources

Hi –

I just wanted to share an interesting webinar about how libraries are re-imagining programming including  online escape rooms, Zoom/twitch/Kahoot trivia, online sip and paints, curbside programming, book discussion groups using Good Reads, food talks, online genealogy groups and partnering with parks to create poetry walks.  One library even shared it was hosting a weekly job search work chat meeting to help individuals find employment https://westportlibrary.libguides.com/VirtualJobhunting.

Some interesting discussions at:

Marketing around 22:15

Curbside Programming around 26:33

Summer Reading Program around 29:00

The chat was full of great ideas and is still accessible if you are watching the recording. The chat also includes lots of curiosity and love for library turtles too!

Thanks!

Andrea
