If you've been thinking now is the time to get a master's degree in library and information science, Emporia's new Conway, Arkansas location for their hybrid (on-line and face-to-face) program may be just what you're looking for. If you'd like to learn more about the program, we invite you to join us for a free, informal Zoom session this Saturday morning at 11:00. You can register for the session here: http://bit.ly/InfoSession_SLIM<https://bit.ly/InfoSession_SLIM>. You'll receive an e-mail a bit later in the week telling you how to log into the session.

For many in western Tennessee and most of Arkansas, Emporia provides an opportunity to experience night/weekend in-person classes, in a shorter driving distance than any other ALA-accredited library degree program. Because this is a new location, Emporia is offering a $1000 scholarship for the first fifteen students to enroll in cohort. Other scholarship applications are open now, as well. Saturday's session will provide an opportunity to learn more about financial aid, costs, dates, and other helpful information.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I hope to see many of you on Saturday.

Tina
