Like many other organizations, the Oregon Library Association was forced to cancel their annual conference this year because of Covid-19. To honor library
workers in the Pacific Northwest, ESU worked with the association to create a series of free webinars, which they will make available each day this week. For those of you looking for new professional development opportunities they can do from home, these
could be a nice way to attend a conference without leaving your dining room!
Here's info on today's session.

Explore actionable insights from BookBrowse’s 2019 report, “The Inner Lives of Book Clubs,” based on two surveys of more than 5,000 book club members. Topics include: How the
world of book groups is much broader than most perceive it to be; common factors of successful groups; what book clubs look for in their books; what people want from a book group, and how public libraries are well-placed to meet this need. The program also
will touch on ideas for taking in-person book clubs online during the COVID-19 pandemic. All attendees will receive a free PDF of the full 60-page report.
Davina Morgan-Witts is the publisher of BookBrowse.com, one of the internet’s leading resources for inquiring readers. BookBrowse has researched book clubs and readers in general
for more than 15 years, during which time it has surveyed more than 20,000 readers. Find more information about BookBrowse for Libraries at https://bookbrowse.com/lib, and about the report at https://bookbrowse.com/innnerlives
