Presented by
Mike Pullin, this course is an introduction to managing and editing data by learning the syntax and construction of a regular expression, which is a sequence of characters that define a search (and sometimes replace) pattern. Regular expressions
are used in integrated library system search/replace reports, some text editors (like Notepad++), and MarcEdit.
The basic characters used to construct a pattern will be discussed and then the patterns will be used in
hands-on examples.
