Hi Mike,

Thanks for sharing! I am looking forward to these interesting talks. For those of you interested in learning Google Earth Engine and Python, I have some tutorials available on YouTube and GitHub. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Happy mapping and coding.

Subject: [CLUBGGY] How to do Map Stuff: Live community Event

Good Afternoon Geographers and Sustainers,

Daniel Huffman from the University of Wisconsin Madison (a school with an excellent reputation for cartography) has organized a virtual How to do Map Stuff Live Community Event coming up on Wednesday April 29th. There are almost 30 sessions going on that cover everything from Google Earth Engine to map labeling to building maps using the D3 javascript library. Personally I want to see Cross Stitch Cartography by Victoria Johnson. Details for the event are below. You do not need to register for anything, they are running it through YouTube Live.
