Good Afternoon Geographers and Sustainers,

Daniel Huffman from the University of Wisconsin Madison (a school with an excellent reputation for cartography) has organized a virtual How to do Map Stuff Live Community Event coming up on Wednesday April 29^th. There are almost 30 sessions going on that cover everything from Google Earth Engine to map labeling to building maps using the D3 javascript library. Personally I want to see Cross Stitch Cartography by Victoria Johnson. Details for the event are below. You do not need to register for anything, they are running it through YouTube Live.
