Members and Supporters,

A short time ago, we received the attached amendment to the Parental Oversight of Public Libraries Act. Please take a moment to read the amendment. 

The House subcommittee will take action on this tomorrow. We are not done! This amendment raises a whole new group of questions and mandates actions like mandatory background checks, 30 day advance notice of children’s programs, and the only avenue of appeal being through the court. 

This is so brief as we are in the midst of Leg Day. We are doing what we can to learn more.
