I can't tell you how excited I am to share that Kent Oliver, Director of Nashville Public Library, is standing for election as President for the Public Library Association (PLA). I've worked with Kent on various library advocacy strategies and know him to be savvy, compassionate, knowledgeable, change agent. I know he will be an excellent President of PLA and I encourage all TLA members who are also PLA members to vote for one of their own, and one of the best, Kent Oliver.
