I want to thank everyone who has worked on the TLA conference.  It is a monumental task.  I wonder though if it is time to go to a virtual conference every other year.  I have proposed this at executive board meetings in the past and it was not very well received.

I attended the Louisiana Library Association virtual conference for the last 2 years.  For $25 each year , I attended great sessions. Presenters were from throughout the country.  I realize how difficult a virtual conference is, but is this something whose time has come?  More people could attend if it were virtual.  I am not aware of the financial ramifications about going virtual.

Anyway, I am just throwing this idea out to gauge reactions.
