Everyone,

I’ve received the following message from Library Administration:

To protect our staff, we will more fully leverage our online capabilities to comply with the Safer at Home order issued by the Knox County Health Department. Therefore, on Wednesday afternoon, we will disable the REQUEST feature in OneSearch that allows paging and scan-on-demand requests. Thursday at 4pm will be the last day that physical items can be picked up from Hodges, Pendergrass, and DeVine.

We will reflect these changes on the Libraries’ contingency page https://www.lib.utk.edu/contingency/. 

We are making extraordinary efforts to deliver research materials online to university students, faculty, and staff and are working on getting access to more resources online that weren’t previously available. Thank you for everything you are doing to support our services in an online environment!

If you have questions, or if there’s anything that we don’t already have available online, please let me know and I’ll do my best to get it for you in electronic format.
