The first joint meeting of Groups in Galway and the Irish Geometry Conference will take place at NUI Galway, Ireland, from 14-16 May 2020. Confirmed speakers currently include: 1. Radhika Gupta (Bristol) 8. Lee Kennard (Syracuse) 9. Joshua Maglione (Bielefeld) 10. Ilaria Mondello (Paris) 11. Lucia Morotti (Hannover) 12. John Murray (Maynooth) 13. Marco Radeschi (Notre Dame) 14. Krishnan Shankar (Oklahoma/NSF) 15. David Wraith (Maynooth) Talks on Thursday will be primarily geometric while those on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning will be primarily algebraic. The talks on Friday morning will appeal to both communities. The meeting will begin on Thursday morning and finish around lunchtime on Saturday. All who are interested are invited to attend.
