The Public Relations Committee would like to create a listing of the main off-site media entities used by Tennessee libraries for their public relations and/or public service announcements. Please email Sharon Parente at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with answers to the following: What are the top media sources you typically use for public relations or public service announcements? (This does not need to be an exhaustive list). If possible, please provide the position title and current name of your contact at the newspaper, radio station, etc. Who handles public relations releases at your library? If your public relations announcements are handled by a centralized news department for a city, county, or university please provide their contact information. Do you prefer the Public Relations Committee to write a press release for TLA award winners and provide it to you for dissemination or to send it directly to the contacts you have listed?
