The Columbia-Pacific NW Region, Fish and Aquatic Conservation Program, is excited to publicize the vacancy announcement for the position of the Leavenworth Fisheries Complex Manager. This permanent GS-14 Supervisory Fish Biologist position is an exciting opportunity to lead a four-facility complex (Leavenworth, Entiat, and Winthrop National Fish Hatcheries, and the Mid-Columbia Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office) focusing on the production of Pacific salmon and steelhead in support of Tribal Trust, mitigation, and conservation programs. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work with a highly competent staff (totaling approximately 76 FTEs) and with numerous external partners (Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, Upper Columbia United Tribes (UCUTs) - Coeur d'Alene, Colville, Kalispel, Kootenai, and Spokane Tribes, Yakama Nation, NOAA fisheries, Bureau of Reclamation, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Chelan and Okanogan Counties, Cities of Leavenworth; Entiat; and Winthrop, etc.).
