Subject: Lower Eastern Shore Invasive Species Initiative

Hello all,

Happy New Year!

With the New Year brings good tidings for the Lower Eastern Shore Invasives Initiative and our nascent regional partnership. We were informed at the end of last year that we were awarded the Outreach and Education Grant we applied for from the Chesapeake Bay Trust. This grant will allow us to hire a full-time program coordinator to arrange our program and begin organizing the Lower Eastern Shore Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (LES-PRISM). Those of you on this email were present at our meeting last May or interested in the partnership. I am reaching out to you today to let you know of the grant award but, more importantly, to help us push the attached Job Description out to your networks and anyone you think who might be interested in the position. We would like to find a qualified and motivated candidate as soon as possible, so we can get this important program off the ground.

Please use the attached Job Description/Announcement for any outreach to candidates you may know. The deadline for applicants is January 31, but we will be actively interviewing qualified candidates as their resumes are received and moving towards filling the position as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

All the best and I hope your New Year is off to a great start.
