Happy New Year Southern Region!

I'm working with JCEP to make sure everyone is aware of the Extension Leadership Conference in San Antonio next month (Feb 12-13). The planning committee has made sure this 2 day event is packed with practical knowledge and skills that Extension professionals in all subject matter areas can bring home and make an even bigger difference in their Programs and with their clients. Now that we're in the year 2020, the conference theme Vision for the Future of Extension is definitely appropriate. This conference is open to all Extension Professionals and Early bird registration ($375) is open through January 20th. Some added perks include free wifi, if you really must get some work done between sessions, the meeting is along the riverwalk which has countless restaurants, shops, and bars that line the river as it snakes through the city. The average temperature in San Antonio is 65 degrees this time of year. And last but not least, you could always extend your stay and make a valentine's day weekend out of it ...
