Hispanic Access Foundation痴 MANO Project is offering enriching internship experiences nationwide for Latinx college students and upcoming professionals who are passionate about public land conservation and natural resources. We'd like to ask for your help in sharing these opportunities with talented Latinx students and recent grads who may be interested in getting work experience with a federal land management agency. Positions range from Archeological Intern, Habitat Restoration Fellow, Communications Fellow, and many others. The duration of the internships vary from 11 - 12 weeks in the summer up to 6 months - 1 year.
We池e currently accepting applications for our 2020 internships with the following federal agencies:
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Directorate Resource Assistant Fellows (DFP): Deadline January 10
U.S Fish and Wildlife Service: Other regions - Accepting applications on an ongoing basis
National Park Service: Latino Heritage Internship Program (LHIP): Deadline February 7
National Park Service: Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Program (COR): Accepting applications on an ongoing basis
Bureau of Land Management: new positions coming in 2020
US Forest Service: new positions coming in 2020
Bureau of Reclamation - Engineering focused: new positions in 2020
