On May 14 -15, 2020, Austin Peay State University's SOS Food Pantry will host the Tennessee Campus Food Pantry Conference.



If your library partners with campus or local food pantries, or if you have any interest in learning more about opportunities for collaboration between libraries and food pantries, please consider attending.

We are looking for informational sessions on topics including: funding, telling your story, assessing impact, and food safety.
Funding: Creative or innovative sources of funding that you were able to utilize to assist in your food pantry operations. How did you find these sources, how did you secure them, in what ways do you use them to benefit your pantry?
Telling your story: Calling all storytellers! What creative ways do you share the story of your campus food pantry? How do you shape your image in the community and on campus? How do you raise awareness among the student body?
Assessing Impact: How do you use the power of data and information to determine if you are making a difference? What information do you collect on your pantry usage and donations? How is it used?
Food Safety: What are the food safety protocols that you have put in place to make sure you meeting the best possible food safety practices?

These breakout sessions will last 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for Q&A.

Please submit a 250 word abstract that addresses the information you wish to present.
