This course consists of two two-hour sessions:

This course focuses on the changing needs of reference management and will provide you with the tools to:

·     put together an information audit for your reference department or library

·     provide a blueprint for departmental strategic planning

·     offer examples of methods to assess the effectiveness of your reference department's services.

 

 

Tech Tools and Apps for the Reference Desk

 

This Know & Go course consists of one two-hour session:

·     Monday, November 25

·     1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

 

Do you want to learn how to implement Web technologies in your reference desk AND save money doing it? Join us to learn how to use free online tools in your reference activities and help your patrons at the point of need. This course explores a variety of online tools – from social media platforms, to virtual chat spaces, to apps you can use to engage and help your users at the reference desk.
