Hope to see you there! *Topic:* Science Writing *When:* 6:30 PM Thursday, November 14th *Where:* Bearden Branch Library (100 Golf Club Road, Knoxville, TN 37919) *Cost: *Free and open to the public; $5 donations appreciated. *About: *Ashley Huff, a science writer and communications specialist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), will give an overview of science communications at ORNL, detail her day-to-day activities, and share sample products and tips for writers Ashley Huff's work has covered broad science topics, including human and urban dynamics, climate, transportation, environment, national security, disaster response, computing, neutron sciences, materials sciences, nanotechnology, and chemistry. She currently supports ORNL’s Physical Sciences Directorate and writes about basic energy research that advances the Department of Energy’s science mission.
