Lunch and Learn: Cleaning Irrigations Pipes in Greenhouses and Nurseries

Join us for a webinar on Oct 17, 2019 at 12:00 PM EDT.

Dr. Rosa Raudales will discuss how to identify and manage microbial and chemical causes of clogging in irrigation systems. Rosa is an assistant professor and extension specialist at the University of Connecticut. Rosa has a Ph.D. in Horticulture, an M.Sc. in Plant Pathology, and a B.Sc. in Agricultural Science and Production Systems. The Raudales research and outreach program focuses on root-zone management in soilless systems, safe and efficient use of low-quality water, development of nutrient programs to match water quality and crop needs, preventing waterborne diseases, and preventing clogging of irrigation systems.
