If you are a current student, you are eligible to apply for a pathways position.  This is what was once the co-op student program.  You must be currently enrolled as a student.  Once you complete the Pathways program, and graduate, you can be hired directly into a permanent position either by the agency that sponsor you, or any other federal agency, often times without having to go thru the application process.  If you are interested, do some research on the Pathways Program.  There are multiple employment opportunities here all across the country.

Subject: Pathways Positions posted on USAJOBs today

Hi folks,

Quit a few Pathways positions (internships and recent graduate) posted this morning on USAJOBS, https://www.usajobs.gov  Note the Oct. 21st closing date.  This is the first round of postings in what will ultimately amount to approximately 500 positions over the next several days.  Below are links to just some of the pathways jobs (does not include all positions).  Students/Recent Grads can help narrow their USAJOBS search by entering “Pathways” or “USDA Pathways” into the search box.  I will continue to forward any additional posting and links as I receive them.  Please share with students, recent graduates and encourage them to apply.
