Dear All,

 

We will have a colloquium talk this Thursday (Oct. 31) at 3:40 pm in BGB 301. The speaker is Dr. Hongxing Liu from Department of Geography, University of Alabama.  Dr. Liu is a well-known scholar in using multiple remote sensing technologies, including hyperspectral, LiDAR, Radar, passive microwave, thermal, and altimetry, to study inland water quality and the dynamics of polar ice sheets and arctic lakes. The title of his presentation is “Remote sensing of inland waters: Techniques and applications”. Attached please find a flyer for this talk.

 

There will be a short reception before the colloquium from 3:30-3:40 pm. Please arrive early to chat with friends and colleagues.
