Subject: New Scholarship Opportunities
Our organization has recently partnered with Lowe’s to bring you and your family new opportunities.
Here are some key pieces of information about this new partnership:
>All aspects of this program apply to both veterans and spouses and are focused on the skilled trades industry.
>We will be offering scholarships of up to $5,000 for those who are interested in entering the skilled trades industry. In 2019, due to time constraints, we will be specifically targeting those interested in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Appliance Repair, and Carpentry.
>We are also offering 10 $5,000 scholarships for veterans and spouses who are currently studying to be an IT professional or in the field of computer science. If you’re an upcoming junior or senior at an accredited institution, you’re eligible to apply.
>We are offering four business grants of $25,000 for veterans and spouses who want to start their own business in the skilled trades industry.
We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity and share with any veteran or spouse who you feel is a good fit for our new partnership. All details and eligibility requirements are not included in this email, so please reach out if you’d like more information.
I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions you have. [log in to unmask], 301-683-4069
