Dear Undergrads,

I am teaching Geog 340 (Economic Geography-Core Concepts) and Geog 442 (Urban Spaces/Urban Society) this term on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:40 am-10:55 am and 11:10 am-12:25 pm respectively in BGB 301 and 101.  

Geog 340 course meets upper division GED and concepts requirement, and also meets the requirements for Global studies program, and as an upper division elective for international studies, economics, business, etc. within the university. This course also meets the requirements of the Global Connections and is listed on the New Geographies of the Global Economy Connections Package.

Geog 442 course covers a variety of interesting topics on the intersectionalities and differences created across urban spaces and society due to differences of race/ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, political economy and the like. This course also meets the requirements of the Global Connections and is cross-listed on various connections packages, such as (i) Mobility and Migrations Connections Package, (ii) Inequalities: Race, Ethnicity, Class, and Gender.
