Geog 340 course meets upper division GED and concepts requirement, and also meets the requirements for Global studies program, and as an upper division elective for international studies, economics, business, etc. within the university. This course also meets the requirements of the Global Connections and is listed on the New Geographies of the Global Economy Connections Package. Geog 442 course covers a variety of interesting topics on the intersectionalities and differences created across urban spaces and society due to differences of race/ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, political economy and the like.
