The position announcement for two Supervisory Fish Biologist vacancies at the Lodi Fish and Wildlife Office is now open!
These GS-11 Supervisory Fish Biologist positions are with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Pacific Southwest Region (R8), Lodi Fish and Wildlife Office (Lodi, CA). The position announcement closes on June 18, 2019. 

About the Position

These positions serve critical roles as a Supervisory Fish Biologists with the Delta Juvenile Fish Monitoring Program in association with the Interagency Ecological Program for the San Francisco Estuary providing expertise on resource issues relative to fish and aquatic ecosystem issues in the Central Valley and Bay/Delta Estuary of California. Leads and supervises project teams; Coordinate and effectively with a partner agencies and entities; Develop fish and aquatic ecosystem management plans; resolve diverse resource management issues for anadromous salmonids in the Central Valley and Bay/Delta Estuary; edit and analyze habitat and fishery data; prepare highly scientific, peer reviewed reports and oral briefings; ensure completion of funded tasks.

 

These positions serve critical roles as Supervisory Fish Biologists with the Delta Juvenile Fish Monitoring Program in association with the Interagency Ecological Program for the San Francisco Estuary providing expertise on resource issues relative to fish and aquatic ecosystem issues in the Central Valley and Bay/Delta Estuary of California. These positions offer a healthy blend of supervision duties and research associated with natural resource management.
