Dear Undergrad students,

I am offering these two upper division courses in the Fall 2019, taught Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please consider enrolling in these as they fulfill various upper divisions concepts requirements as choices for major/minor etc. Attached please find short/brief flyers and detailed flyers for both these classes. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/concerns. 

In particular Geog 340 should be of interest to all geography undergrads, and Geog 442 could be of particular interest to those keen on understanding socio-spatial disparity and the theoretical/empirical analyses of the same, while linking them with the local, regional and national/international policies, etc. Class material will discuss issues of difference pertaining to race/ethnicity, class, gender, nationality, religion, sexuality across public vs private spaces, and much more across North America, Europe and the developing worlds as needed. Geog 442 may be useful for those interested in taking my Geog 541 (Topics in Urban Economic Geography, taught in SP 2020, I allow seniors and juniors to enroll in this 541 class).
