Master Gardeners of Davidson County are excited to announce that Rachel
Dunham, Community Engagement Coordinator with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation will be speaking at the May 18, Urban Gardening Festival
in Nashville. Ms. Dunham's presentation "Look to The Future: Climate Change And The Gardener" will be at 1pm in the Keynote Speaker Tent.
The Garden Center, a one-stop shop located within the Urban Gardening Festival, will have close to 2,000 plants for sale, a major fundraising effort for the Master
Gardeners. MG volunteers have carefully grown from seed many varieties of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, celery, eggplants, and sweet potatoes in the greenhouse adjacent to the Ellington Agricultural Center demonstration gardens. In addition there will be a huge
variety of pollinator-friendly perennials for sale. So bring your wallet and truck - credit cards will be accepted.
The Urban Garden Festival is in it's 7th year and 2019 is going to be the biggest event yet. Don't miss it!
