The Publications Advisory Committee is accepting applications for a Social Media Manager for the Tennessee Library Association.   The position will be available July 1, 2019.

 

This Social Media Manager will develop and maintain the TLA presence on Facebook and/or Twitter in concert with the other existing Social Media Manager to facilitate communication and discussion among the members of the Tennessee Library Association.

 

Examples of types of content you may find in TLA’s social media presence include:

● TLA news and events

● News and events from TLA affiliate members

● Items of interest from national associations such as ALA and PLA

● Calls for advocacy related to library issues

 

Please review the position description and the social media policy for more information, and please ask questions.

 

This position is renewable on an annual contract and carries an honorarium.

Note:  You must be a TLA member to be appointed to a position.
