I want to let you know about the second annual Flatwater Tales at the Grove Theater on June 1. Our tellers have all written award-winning books for kids. Carmen Deedy is married to John McCutcheon who has been to OR many times. I’ve attached an info sheet and hope you’ll help us pass the word along about it. We are having a writing workshop with Minton Sparks again this time, too, on Friday, May 31, 1-4 PM. From our PR: Minton Sparks returns to conduct a three-hour interactive writing workshop, “My Crazy Kin—Transform Your Family Stories into a Compelling Personal Narrative.” Let Minton help you craft your own story from your family history and experiences and structure it for effectiveness.
