The USDA Forest Service, R10-Alaska Region, State & Private Forestry team is seeking candidates for a Permanent position and a Not to Exceed 120 Day-Detail/Temporary Promotion as the Invasive Plants & Pesticide Use Program Coordinator.
Permanent Duty Station is Anchorage Alaska.
Temporary Detail duty station can be either Anchorage, or Juneau, Alaska.
Position Duties
The Invasive Plants and Pesticide Use Program Coordinator is a member of the Forest Health Protection team in the Regional Office. The person in this position has four primary roles: (1) serving as the invasive plants program lead for State and Private Forestry;
(2) assisting Alaska’s two National Forests with administration of invasive plant programs; (3) serving as regional pesticide use coordinator; and (4) serving as the Alaska representative of the Forest Health Monitoring program.
