Hello, Campus Communicators!

The Department of Environmental Health and Safety is implementing a new online system to help the campus community better track laboratory chemicals and other hazardous chemicals, such as cleaning agents, that are used at UT.

Whether you work in a lab, art studio, maker space, or with University Housing or Facilities Services, BioRAFT will provide a place to maintain your chemical inventory as well as manage other health and safety lab functions such as hazard assessments, lab safety survey findings, and training requirements.

BioRAFT will help the campus better comply with regulatory requirements and provide important information to first responders in the event of an emergency.

Environmental Health and Safety will host eight training workshops to help users set up their BioRAFT account and become familiar with the tools within the system.

The workshops will be held April 16–25 in Student Union Room 360. For a list of available times, visit the EHS website.

Please share this information with the people in your area.

Thank you for your help.

Lola
