Innovative Engagement with Nature
Spring is here! A perfect time to get in tune with nature as we take our campus-wide teaching and learning exploration tour to the UT Gardens, located on the Ag Campus. On Wednesday, March 27, 12:20 - 1:10pm, we'll see how students engage in both the process and the learning concepts related to public-use plant collections. You can drive, carpool or take the trolley, to experience the role of "plant data collector." Attendees will receive an Orange Vols Day Lily plant, while supplies last!
Presenters will be Dr. Joanne Logan, BioSystems Engineering and Soil Science, Dr. Sue Hamilton, UTIA Gardens and Dr. Nancy Howell, Plant Sciences (Ret.). We will meet at the South Greenhouse, Room 122, located at 2514 Jacob Drive. Looking forward to seeing you there!
